PSG Fans Protest FFF’s Ramadan Fasting Ban with Provocative Banner
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) supporters reacted in their own way against the controversial decision of the French Football Federation (FFF) prohibiting interruptions in play to allow Muslim players to break their Ramadan fast.
Before the match against Olympique Lyonnais (OL) on Sunday, the Parisian supporters deployed a rather provocative banner in the Auteuil stand. On the poster, we could read: "A date, a glass of water: the nightmare of the FFF", reports Onze mondial.
The Parisian Ultras decided to react to the FFF’s press release reminding referees of the ban on interrupting matches to allow Muslim players to break their Ramadan fast. A decision that continues to cause controversy.
