PSG Fan and Comedian Malik Bentalha Fined, Banned for Lighting Smoke Bomb at Champions League Match

Present in the stands with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) supporters, during the Parisian club’s victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League (3-0) on September 18, comedian Malik Bentalha was fined and banned from the stadium for having lit a smoke bomb.
The act committed by the comedian Bentalha did not go unpunished. He was in the Auteuil bend when he lit a smoke bomb with other supporters. He paid dearly for it, as he was immediately recognized in the group because of his celebrity and thanks to the surveillance cameras.
This allowed the police services, present at the Parc des Princes, to identify him and summon him on Thursday, September 26, before placing him in police custody.
Appearing before the Paris Criminal Court, the comedian admitted the facts and was tried in a preliminary admission of guilt, according to L’équipe. The verdict was handed down on Friday, September 27, and is unappealable: a fine and above all six months’ ban from the stadium.
According to the same source, a few days earlier, PSG had filed a complaint against X for the smoke bombs lit on Sunday, September 22, in Lyon (1-0).
