PSG Arsenal Hakimi fit Champions League final Budapest
On the eve of the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal, Luis Enrique confirmed the availability of Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan should regain his starting position on the right flank.
Injured in the thigh against Bayern Munich during the first leg of the semi-final, the defender had not set foot on the pitch since. However, he returned to group training last Tuesday. Speaking to the press on Friday, the Spanish coach officially confirmed his player’s presence for this clash scheduled for Saturday evening in Budapest.

For this decisive match, the manager should logically field the Moroccan from the start on the right side of defence, thus ruling out the option of moving midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery back. The title holders will present themselves with a full squad to face the recent English champions. The left flank will be occupied by Nuno Mendes, also declared fit, who will support a central defence pairing formed by Marquinhos and Willian Pacho in front of goalkeeper Matvej Safonov. Driven by the trio João Neves, Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz, PSG’s play will rely in attack on Ousmane Dembélé.
