Bad News for Achraf Hakimi
Three days before the Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain is worried about Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan was substituted at halftime during the 3-0 victory against Angers.
During this 31st matchday of Ligue 1 at the Raymond-Kopa stadium, the right-back showed obvious signs of weakness. From the first period, he spoke several times with the Paris staff. The alert was confirmed in the thirty-fifth minute: after a long sprint, the player appeared to be physically affected, remaining crouched for several seconds. He nonetheless stayed on the pitch for the entire first forty-five minutes before being definitively replaced at halftime.

The Moroccan is not the only capital player to have left the game prematurely. Lucas Hernandez, who touched his thigh repeatedly, and Fabian Ruiz, back for his first start after a knee injury, also returned to the bench at halftime. Their places were taken by Warren Zaïre-Emery, Joao Neves and Dro Fernandez. However, one element is reassuring: at the end of the match, the defender was seen walking completely normally in the corridors of the stadium, with no apparent discomfort.

Faced with these tactical questions, the coach preferred to remain evasive. It was with a smile that Luis Enrique maintained the mystery surrounding his squad’s health: "There was a bit of everything, this is not the time to talk about what is happening at PSG because the semi-final is approaching, I know nothing about what is happening with my players."
