PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Named Top Arab Player in Ligue 1 for August

Unsurprisingly, Achraf Hakimi was elected best Arab player for the month of August. A distinction that coincides with the launch of the French football championship.
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi tops a poll launched by Ligue 1. He owes the title of best Arab player in Ligue 1 to his talent and the performances he has shown throughout the month of August. In four games with PSG, the Atlas Lion scored a goal and provided two assists.
The Moroccan player had no trouble adapting to the Parisian club’s style of play. The 22-year-old right-back has big ambitions in coming to PSG: to extend the list of these distinctions and establish himself as one of the brightest footballers of his generation. After just a few games, the French press already presents him as the best summer recruit of the capital club.
