Prominent Moroccan Politician Faouzi Benallal, Former Harhoura Mayor, Dies at 65

Faouzi Benallal, the former mayor of Harhoura, died on Thursday, November 12. Istiqlal thus loses one of its most influential members.
The news of the death of this political actor was confirmed by members of his party. Faouzi Benallal was vice-president of the House of Advisors and a leading member of Istiqlal.
He was also the president of the commune of Harhoura, a position he lost in 2018, following several malfunctions. The deceased, on behalf of his party, had a certain influence in the Rabat region. Through his charisma, he was able to establish himself as a leading leader, reports Le360.
He leaves taking with him the legal proceedings opened against him, especially that of violations of the national legislation relating to urban planning, specifies the same source.
