Princess Stéphanie Launches All-Women Off-Road Rally in Monaco

It was from the palace square that Stéphanie of Monaco gave on Saturday, March 19, the starting signal (electric category) for the 31st edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. A race that brings together in Morocco women passionate about adventure and thrills.
A major event dedicated to off-road rally enthusiasts, the 31st edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is taking place without speed, without GPS and with old-fashioned navigation.
The first all-female rally, the Monaco stage recorded the participation of eight women, all determined to go to the end of the competition. They will join Nice, the other Gazelles for the official start of the race.
For about thirty years, four categories of vehicles have been participating in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. These are the 4X4/Truck, Quads/SSV, Crossover/Hybrid Crossover and E-Gazelle categories. This year’s race is under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI.
After the technical inspection on March 21, the drivers will have to start the race on March 23. The official finish will be on the beach on April 2. On April 3, the Gazelles will join the port of Tangier to embark towards Sète, in France.
