Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco Resumes Cancer Foundation Work After Months-Long Absence

After several months of absence, Lalla Salma has just made a new appearance at the Mechouar Said in Rabat. The princess continues to carry the torch of the fight and prevention against cancer.
According to the site Alayam24, Lalla Salma has resumed the path to the headquarters of her Foundation for the Fight Against Cancer in recent days. Created in 2005, the NGO has set itself the objective of improving patient care and encouraging prevention actions.
In 2019, Lalla Salma was expected in Laâyoune for the inauguration of the new regional oncology center, the launch of which was finally given in April by the Wali. The princess would have planned to make a visit there in the near future, the same source points out.
Let us recall that the Board of Directors of the Lalla Salma Foundation is composed of several personalities from the political and medical world, including the former Secretary of State Latifa El Abida as Secretary General. The Treasury, on the other hand, is entrusted to the Minister of Industry, Moulay Hafid El Alamy.
