Pregnant Woman Murdered in Morocco: Boyfriend Arrested in Forest Burial Case

The services of the Royal Gendarmerie proceeded to the arrest of two individuals, for their alleged involvement in the murder and burial of a young woman, in Sebt el Guerdane, in the region of Taroudant.
The illegitimate pregnancy, the fruit of a love affair between the suspect and the victim, allowed the gendarmes to unravel the threads of this mysterious crime. The victim’s attempt to mask the scandal through marriage was rejected by her boyfriend.
Accompanied by another individual, the accused had invited his mistress to a forest in Sebt El Guerdane. After a drunken evening, they killed her before burying her.
The remains were found much later by the residents, attracted by the odor emanating from the body.
After an investigation conducted by the gendarmes, the two suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
