Portuguese Business Delegation Seeks to Boost Trade Ties with Morocco

A multi-sectoral business mission from Portugal has been on a working visit to Morocco since December 11. Among other things, this mission will conduct exchanges to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
This Portuguese mission is composed of more than 25 companies specialized in sectors such as the agri-food industry, transport and logistics, furniture, construction and building materials, new information technologies, energy, leather, tourism and metallurgy.
In order to define mechanisms capable of giving a boost to the entrepreneurial potential of Morocco and Portugal, a seminar was held yesterday in Casablanca, according to Hespress.
This business and opportunity meeting will be attended by the Portuguese Ambassador to Morocco as well as the President of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services. The seminar will be followed by a series of B2B meetings between Moroccan and Portuguese players.
This is the second time that the consulting group EXUMAS has organized a commercial mission of this kind in Morocco. The mission will end around the annual gala dinner organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Portugal in Morocco (CCISPM).
