Polisario Front Confirms Desertion of Senior Rebel Captain to Morocco

Salamu Bel-lal, a rebel captain and deserter formerly affiliated with the Polisario Front, is indeed in Morocco, according to propaganda media sources from the separatist Front.
The futurosahara website specifies in this sense that an official source has confirmed the information about the desertion of Salamu Bel-Lal, born in 1990. He is said to have joined Morocco, aboard a Toyota, without a weapon, while the vehicle is intended for the transport of weapons.
All this is consistent with what 2M was relaying, based on the MAP: "A rebel cadre of the polisario, declaring to be of the rank of Captain and serving as Deputy Commander of the ’Commander of a Katiba’ of the so-called ’Gendarmerie of the Separatist Front’, presented himself, on Monday morning, at the level of the Defense Line in the Farcia area (Oued Draa Region), with the declared intention of rallying the motherland, according to a military source." He is said to have done this with the assumed intention of "joining the motherland".
The MAP also specified that this return of this captain was done in a multicolored jeep. Salamu Bel-Lal is said to have also indicated that many other people were preparing like him to join "the motherland". The soldier was then taken to Guelmim to be questioned at the military base.
