The Polisario attacks Morocco and France

The Polisario, protected by Algeria, accuses France of obstructing the restoration of peace and stability in the North-West African region, and denounces its blatant complicity with Morocco, which hinders the unity of the peoples of the Greater Maghreb and cooperation and integration between its countries.
The Polisario is unhappy with France. The source of this discontent is the statements made by the French ambassador to Morocco, Christophe Lecourtier, last Thursday in Rabat, during a conference organized by the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences - Rabat Agdal, on the theme "France-Morocco relations: issues and perspectives". The French diplomat stated that his country has supported Morocco since the beginning of the Sahara conflict, has armed it, and even its army has intervened. He also declared that France has supported Morocco at the United Nations when it was isolated, and that it was among the first countries to support the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Western Sahara.
In a statement, the Polisario described the French ambassador’s statements as "dangerous" before condemning them "in the strongest terms". The separatist movement accuses France of "pursuing a policy of hegemony." France’s continued support for Morocco leads "to procrastination and degradation that will have serious consequences for all the countries and peoples of the Maghreb region, for French strategic interests, as well as for international peace and security," it adds.
The Polisario nevertheless hopes that France will overcome "this obsolete policy" and contribute "to the restoration of peace."
