Police Arrest Four Suspects in €25 Million Crypto Heist Targeting Tuenti Founder

The police arrested in Madrid four individuals, including two Moroccans, suspected perpetrators of the burglary of the home of the founder of the social network Tuenti, Zaryn Dentzel, which occurred nearly a year ago.
The four defendants, including two Moroccans, a Colombian and a Brazilian woman, were arrested on Wednesday in Alcobendas, Getafe and Leganés (Madrid region), after about a year of investigation by the police, reports EFE.
The defendants burglarized the luxury apartment of Zaryn Dentzel, located on Ruiz de Alarcón street, near the Retiro park, last November. They entered the house masked and handcuffed the 39-year-old Californian businessman, asking him for the code of his virtual account containing around 25 million euros.
Unable to obtain the access code to this virtual account, they took numerous bank cards, luxury watches and two aluminum suitcases in which they put the stolen items. They then managed to withdraw around 2,000 euros from the stolen bank cards. The four individuals are accused of the crimes of kidnapping, robbery with violence, fraud, illegal possession, threats and injuries.
