US Poised to Sell Advanced MQ-9B Sea Guardian Drones to Morocco

Morocco would be in negotiations with the United States for the purchase of four units of the MQ-9B Sea Guardian drones, one of the most modern in the US military.
According to La Razón, the US State Department has already authorized the sale of these military drones to Morocco. Members of the US Congress will consider the sales agreement in the coming days, it is reported.
With a range of about eleven thousand kilometers, the MQ-9B Sea Guardian drones are equipped with a Lynx multimode radar, an electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor and have automatic takeoff and landing capabilities. It can fly at altitudes exceeding 15,000 meters for a duration of 48 hours.
The MQ-9B Sea Guardian drones are dedicated to military, environmental and humanitarian missions, explains General Atomics, specifying that they can also carry out surveillance and reconnaissance missions, reports the manufacturer.
