Palestinian Fugitive Sought in Casablanca Child Rape Case, Accomplice Arrested
An international arrest warrant has been issued against a Palestinian, accused of raping minors. His alleged accomplice was arrested by the gendarmerie elements of Lahraouyine (Casablanca).
It all started with the publication of videos on social networks. In these videos, a Palestinian is seen with underage girls claiming to have had sexual relations with them, reports the Arabic daily Assabah. These videos led to the opening of an investigation entrusted to the gendarmerie of Lahraouyine. A total of 15 victims will be heard. The investigators manage to identify a 26-year-old woman, suspected of having served as an intermediary in this case, and lay a trap for her. She will be arrested at the scene of a meeting she had with one of the victims. The victims’ statements, as well as telephone recordings, confirm her involvement in this case.
The interrogation of the young woman allows the investigators to have other elements. She told them that she had met this Palestinian who had entered Morocco presenting an Israeli passport "by chance" in downtown Casablanca and had realized his wish to have sexual relations with minors in exchange for a "commission" of 500 dirhams for each girl. This is how this foreign national had relations with 15 minors at his home. Based on these facts, the Moroccan authorities have issued an international arrest warrant against this Palestinian. Human trafficking, rape of minors, indecency or production and distribution of pornographic content could be among the charges.
