Oscar Winner Adrien Brody Stars in Moroccan-Filmed Ad for Luxury Luggage Brand

Canadian B Corp. company has set its sights on famous American actor, Adrien Brody, double Oscar winner, for its new advertising campaign shot in Tangier, Morocco.
Solicited by the Canadian company B Corp., Adrien Brody becomes the new face of the Monos travel brand. In a three-minute short film titled Kismet, filmed in Morocco, more precisely in Tangier, he plays the role of a globetrotter, reports the American magazine The Hollywood Reporter. This advertising campaign presents the company’s new line of aluminum luggage (sold between $665 and $775). It highlights Monos’ new hard-sided suitcases, available in cabin, medium, large and trunk sizes, with Aspen Silver, Champagne Gold and Caviar Black finishes.
The short film shows Adrien Brody daydreaming on a train, "a bit like his character of a railway traveler in Wes Anderson’s Darjeeling Limited". We see him exploring the streets of the city of the strait, where he makes surprising encounters. "Growing up in New York, a city full of diversity and unexpected encounters, has awakened in me a thirst for adventure," explains the 51-year-old actor in a press release.
The double Oscar winner will add: "I often find myself on different filming locations when I work on films, which is exciting; I love to explore, travel, get lost and find my way. Traveling reminds me that borders don’t matter, whatever the differences between cultures and peoples, we are all simply living beings, each with our own story."
