Orlando Bloom Reveals Unusual Bond with Adopted Moroccan Stray Dog
Orlando Bloom, the famous actor who has notably played in the films "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "The Lord of the Rings" (and "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Troy"...) had a lot of affection for "Sidi", a dog he adopted in Morocco. Once dead, he even kept its skeleton.
It’s a strange name that was given to this dog adopted in Morocco, and a strange end for its bones, still kept by Orlando Bloom. The actor shares these things in an interview with a media called... Dogsmonthly!
To know that "Sidi" was, the cherry on the cake, a stray dog in Morocco, before being treated as he was during his lifetime and post-mortem.
The actor had taken in this black dog seven years ago, which he called "Sidi" in the Ouarzazate region, where he was filming the movie "The Kingdom of Heaven". Since then, he was on all the sets to the point of making the cover of Men’s Health with him.
On Instagram, Orlando Bloom would have said about him: "Man’s best friend... when you can’t let go." To know that "Sidi" died in September 2016. That is, almost 3 years ago. And his skeleton still keeps Bloom company, who declared: "He was an excellent companion and I was very sad when he died. I kept his skeleton so he could stay with me."
