Olympic Judo Champion Teddy Riner to Host French ’Love is Blind’ on Netflix

Olympic judo champion Teddy Riner and his partner Luthna Plocus will host the French version of the reality TV show "Love is Blind" on Netflix. The couple will host this adaptation of the successful American program, which will be broadcast in 2025 and is currently in production in Morocco.
In "Love is Blind", single men and women meet in isolated "pods", without seeing each other. They get to know each other only by voice and can propose marriage before even discovering each other physically. The couples formed then go on a honeymoon and move in together, confronting their budding love with the reality of daily life.
The filming of the show, produced by ITV Studios (behind "The Voice" and "Love Island"), is underway in Morocco, reports Le Parisien. The candidates had previously stayed in Sweden, where the lofts are located.
This is not the first time Teddy Riner has taken on a television challenge. In 2019, he had co-hosted "La Course des champions" on France 2, a sports show that unfortunately did not meet the expected success.
Settled in Morocco for several months, Teddy Riner particularly appreciates Marrakech, where he benefits from optimal conditions to train and challenge himself against Moroccan and French opponents.
