French 'Love is Blind' Sizzles: Morocco Hosts Romantic Reality Show with Teddy Riner

"For better or blind", the French version of the reality TV show "Love is Blind", launched in the United States in 2020, was partially filmed in Morocco.

The first four episodes of "For Better or Blind" will be available on Netflix on September 10, 2025. Part 2 will be released on September 17, Part 3 on September 24, and Part 4 on October 1. What is the concept of this show launched in 2020 in the United States, of which the American version is "Love is Blind"? The idea is to create a unique bond, based on a deep and emotional connection, without seeing each other.

Fifteen single men and fifteen single women, aged 30 to 39, communicate from separate booths, called pods, where they can only rely on conversation to create a connection. If a strong connection develops, a marriage proposal can take place before they discover their partner’s appearance. The couples formed then fly to Morocco for a stay, then cohabit for several weeks in Paris. If the chemistry is still there, the final step is the wedding, in front of the cameras.

Teddy Riner and his wife Luthna Plocus are the hosts. The participants are: Alexandre, Andy, Ben, Charles, Clément, David, Gallien, Jonathan, Julien, Mady, Stan, Thomas, Van-My, Vincent and Yannick for the men. For the women, there are Alice, Anaïs, Chloé, Cindy, Cynthia, Estelle, Julie, Kim, Lina, Léa, Ludivine, Lussea, Sabrina, Sarah and Tatiana. They discuss universal themes such as religion, children, intimacy, sexuality, fear of abandonment, or the difference in height in the couple.
