Olympic Champion El Guerrouj Calls for Action After Anti-Morocco Chants at CHAN 2022

Last Sunday, CAF announced its intention to "conduct investigations" into the statements of Nelson Mandela’s grandson and the insults chanted by Algerian supporters against Morocco.

For the Moroccan champion Hicham El Guerrouj, in a message posted on his Twitter account, CAF should not stop at a simple press release given the nature of the remarks. "You must take action, not issue press releases," he said.
