According to Karim Lotfi Senhadji, Director of OCP Africa, it is a plant based on the raw materials of Morocco and Ghana, namely phosphate and gas, with a production capacity of one million tons.
Also, the unit should allow Ghana to achieve self-sufficiency in terms of fertilizers and provide farmers across the region with appropriate and adapted inputs, particularly related to soil mapping.
According to Karim Lotfi Senhadji, the establishment of this plant is the result of the cooperation between the OCP Group and Ghana. The objective is to raise awareness among farmers on good agricultural practices, particularly concerning soil fertility, through training and guidance.
