Notorious Moroccan Drug Trafficker Killed in Highway Collision Near Larache

One of the most famous cannabis resin transporters died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in a road accident near Larache. His vehicle ended up under a tanker truck.
Native of Dalia near Ksar Sghir, Mustapha Chairi was with another person who was evacuated in serious condition to the hospital, reports the local site Larache24. Before becoming one of the most famous transporters of cannabis resin between Morocco and Europe, the deceased had invested in the fishing sector.
On the run for several years, he lived between the two shores and owned several properties in northern Morocco. A prosperous businessman, he owned several cafes and restaurants in Tangier as well as in other cities, very often through proxies.
A repeat offender, he had been sentenced in absentia to 7 years in prison before being sentenced again, still in absentia, to 15 years in prison, a sentence he never served.
