Norwegian-Born Midfielder Osame Sahraoui Weighs National Team Options Between Morocco and Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation is pulling out all the stops to keep Osame Sahraoui, while Morocco, for its part, does not seem to be making the necessary efforts to encourage him to play with the Atlas Lions.
Recently, the Moroccan-Norwegian midfielder confided to the Eurosport channel that he was still undecided about his final choice between Morocco, where he is from, and Norway, where he was born.
According to the daily Al Massae, even if the National Technical Directorate is less enterprising, it is counting on him to bring the most to the midfield, while Norway covets his athletic qualities.
Even if the player is still hesitating, the language barriers may make things easier for him. He only speaks Norwegian and Amazigh. Not to mention the determination of the Norwegian Football Federation, which has had the player sign a contract that is difficult to refuse, the same source specifies.
