Morocco’s National Team to Hold European Training Camp Ahead of AFCON Qualifiers

Even if the Central African Football Federation is hesitant to send its players to Morocco, the Atlas Lions are actively preparing the two matches that will be held in November. To do this, they will travel to a European country next month for their preparation.
The training camp that will be held from October 5 to 13 will allow Vahid Halillhodzic’s men to be in condition for these two matches against the Central African Republic, as part of the qualifiers for the next Africa Cup of Nations.
By choosing Europe, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has thought about the fact that the majority of internationals play in Europe and could not go to Morocco, given the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Apart from this preparatory training camp, the FRMF plans two friendly matches against African selections, reports Assabah.
Morocco is not the only one thinking of a training camp in Europe. There is also Senegal, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Algeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria or Tunisia, the same source specifies.
