Nora Fatehi Makes History at Qatar World Cup, Performs Official Anthem

The Moroccan-Canadian actress and producer Nora Fatehi performed for the first time at the opening ceremony of a World Cup. She shares the emotions she felt in these historic moments in Qatar.
"Light The Sky" is the fourth official anthem of the 2022 World Cup soundtrack performed by four iconic Arab singers, including Nora Fatehi. She confides that she was "nervous" before her performance and that singing the anthem of the 2022 Qatar World Cup meant everything to her.
"Standing there and singing the song. The song has so much positivity. It means unity to me, diversity - being able to have Hindi lyrics in the song, even though India is not participating in the World Cup - but they are part of the spirit - through music, dance, art. That was the goal: to have the audience singing the lyrics with me."
For the Bollywood star, singing Light the Sky every time gives her a celebratory feeling. She will add: "It’s such a powerful and positive energy, and yes, it’s a good feeling. I was so nervous, but at the same time, I felt a sense of gratitude."
