Netherlands Appoints Moroccan Coach to Retain Dual-National Soccer Talents

The Dutch football federation appointed Moroccan Adil Ramzi as coach of the under-18 team in early July. A way to counter the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, which has managed to convince several dual-national talents to join the den of the Atlas Lions.
By appointing Adil Ramzi as head of the U-18s, the Dutch football federation is seeking to prevent Morocco from recruiting more dual-national players. And visibly, its policy has paid off. The Moroccan coach has called up four gems of Moroccan origin to participate in the next training camp. They are Aymean el Hani from Ajax Amsterdam, Nassim El Harmouz from Feyenoord Rotterdam, Benjamin Khaderi and Sami Bouhoudane, playing at PSV Eindhoven.
In a statement to the official website of the Dutch Football Federation, the former coach of Wydad Athletic Club thanked the federation officials for the trust placed in him to take on the challenge of building a strong and dynamic youth team. The president of the Dutch Federation, Nigel de Jong, for his part praised the merits of Adil Ramzi, stressing that he has the ideal profile to make significant changes to the U-18 team.
