Netflix Slashes Subscription Prices in Morocco to Boost Audience

Netflix has decided to get closer to its Moroccan audience by offering new subscribers slightly lower packages, effective since February 21.
In a statement, the Netflix streaming platform announced that it has updated its pricing in Morocco, with packages set at 35 DH, 65 DH and 95 DH. The goal is to offer a variety of shows, series and movies at a lower cost.
Existing subscribers will be able to benefit from this new pricing in a few weeks, Netflix indicates. "Existing members will be notified by email, as well as in the Netflix app 30 days before the new prices apply to them."
Netflix reminds that it has added new shows, movies and interesting series and invites Moroccans to subscribe massively. "A great list of TV shows and movies are planned in the coming months including Masameer County S2, The Matchmaker, Glass Onion, Knives Out, Wednesday, Matilda, Emily in Paris, Pinocchio, The Witcher, Dubai Bling, The Exchange, and AlKhalla".
Here is a summary of the pricing plans offered by Netflix:
• Essential Plan: costs 35 dhs per month, allows you to watch Netflix on one screen at a time, and download movies and TV shows for offline viewing on one device. It offers an unlimited number of movies and TV episodes, viewable on various devices.
• Standard Plan: costs 65 dhs per month, allows you to watch Netflix on two screens at the same time and download movies and TV shows for offline viewing on two devices. It also offers the ability to watch movies and TV shows in HD.
• Premium Plan: costs 95 dhs per month, allows you to watch Netflix on four screens at the same time and download movies and TV shows on four devices. It offers an unlimited number of movies and TV episodes, viewable by streaming from the device of your choice.
