Netflix to Release Exclusive Documentary on Morocco’s Historic World Cup Run

Netflix will produce a documentary on the 2022 Qatar World Cup with exclusive content. The streaming platform reserves many unprecedented and unforgettable moments from this competition for its subscribers, such as Morocco’s performance, which reached the semi-finals.
In its 2023 sports program, published on Twitter, Netflix has listed the documentary "Untitled FIFA World Cup Series" which traces the surprises and major highlights of the World Cup in Qatar. From group stage surprises, to the historic performance of Morocco, the first African country to reach the quarter-finals and semi-finals, to Argentina’s triumph with Leo Messi, the documentary is made to relive the World Cup in a different way.
"We will follow the 2022 World Cup in Qatar behind the scenes. We will have privileged access and exclusive images of the 32 teams and their surroundings. You will know everything about the World Cup like you’ve never seen it before," Netflix explained. For now, no details on the release date of the documentary. But it could be available as early as the summer of 2023, we are told.
The documentary was produced by Netflix, in collaboration with FIFA+, some media point out, recalling that the two entities are not new to co-production. The documentary series "Captains", available on both streaming platforms, is one of their masterpieces. Perhaps the documentary on the 2022 Qatar World Cup will also have this chance.
