Netflix Poised to Hike Subscription Prices Globally, Starting with US and Canada

Netflix plans to raise its prices in the United States and Canada before extending the measure to other countries including Morocco.
Netflix has not officially announced any increase in its subscription rates. Sources close to the American platform have assured the Wall Street Journal that it is preparing to raise the price of the subscription, indicating that the increase will concern the various ad-free packages and should take effect at the end of the Hollywood actors’ strike, launched since July 14.
If there is to be an increase, it should start in the United States and Canada, where the last increase by the streaming giant dates back to 2022, before spreading to Europe and Latin America. Other countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Ecuador, or Asian countries like Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines or Vietnam, should also be affected by this price increase, after a notable drop in recent months.
