  The court of first instance in Fès sentenced, this Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Naoufal Chabat, commune president, also the eldest son of Hamid Chabat, former secretary general of the Istiqlal party, to two months in prison. He was prosecuted in custody for "driving under the influence, refusing to comply, attempted flight and insulting public officials in the exercise of their duties".
