Mysterious White Smoke Puzzles Moroccan Town as Officials Investigate Ground Cracks

White smoke has been emanating from the ground for about three weeks in the commune of Tagleft, in the province of Azilal. The phenomenon is causing astonishment and concern among the inhabitants of the region.
This strange fact has been observed for nearly a month in the Tingarf pastures. According to local sources, this phenomenon began with small cracks in the ground, which then widened over the days, and from which the white smoke escapes.
Last weekend, a local joint commission, composed of representatives of the provincial authorities and forestry agents, went to the site to try to find an explanation for this phenomenon. But so far, no official explanation has yet been provided for this phenomenon.
The inhabitants of the region have expressed concerns about this mystery. For some, the appearance of this smoke could be related to volcanic activity in the region. Others, however, believe that illegal practices could be the cause of this phenomenon.
