Mysterious death of Yassine (23 years old) in Belgium: His family refuses to believe in suicide

The body of this 23-year-old from Manage was discovered along the railway lines at the beginning of last week. While the public prosecutor’s office initially ruled out any criminal leads in favor of an accident or suicide, his relatives denounce persistent gray areas. According to La Nouvelle Gazette, the family has decided to suspend the funeral in order to carry out a thorough forensic examination.

Described as a generous but vulnerable young man, Yassine would have been the regular target of harassment and extortion before his death. His mother, Myriam, categorically rejects the idea of a desperate gesture. "My son did not commit suicide, it is impossible," she insists, convinced that his kindness may have been exploited by third parties.

Disturbing clues fuel the family’s doubts, including the unusual purchase of a bottle of alcohol and the discovery of a train ticket covering the journey of four passengers to La Louvière. Although Yassine appears alone on the CCTV images of the Charleroi station the day before the tragedy, these elements suggest that he may have been accompanied shortly before his death.

To support their efforts, the relatives have officially joined the civil party. The autopsy, which will be performed shortly, will have to determine if the young man was the victim of a criminal act. "I absolutely do not want justice to miss something," his mother concludes, determined to obtain clear answers on the circumstances of this tragedy.
