Mustapha Hadji Expresses Ambition to Coach Morocco’s National Soccer Team

Former Moroccan international Mustapha Hadji recently stated that his greatest dream is to become coach of the Atlas Lions.
"Coaching the Atlas Lions is my greatest dream. I want to bring to this team the same combativeness and enthusiasm that I experienced as a player," Hadji told the Al Arabiya channel. He added: "I believe the Moroccan national team has a lot of potential and talent, and all we need is proper planning and a strategic vision to succeed at the continental and international levels."
The former Moroccan team player acknowledged that "the current generation is better than the 90s, because they have delighted the Moroccans, the Arab world and the Africans during the World Cup," thanking Hakim Ziyech and his teammates for their "combativeness." Hadji is also convinced of the ability of the Atlas Lions to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
Mustapha Hadji marked the history of the Moroccan team as an attacking midfielder, between 1994 and 1998. After his retirement, he became a coach and has proven himself at the national and international levels. The former player has served on the technical staff of the Atlas Lions as an assistant coach, an experience that has likely given him an in-depth knowledge of the team and the challenges to be met.
