Muslim Leaders Defend Against Israel Collusion Claims, PJD Chief Calls Accusations ’Conspiracy’

Abdelilah Benkirane, Secretary General of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), reacted to the accusations of Muslim leaders of "treason and collaboration with Israel".
In the eyes of the Islamist leader, the accusations of "treason and collaboration with Israel" against Muslim leaders is a form of "conspiracy". "If part of these accusations proves to be well-founded, the reformist or revolutionary political movements have played a major role in it, he believes during the annual meeting with the parliamentary group of Justice and Development. Our role today is to do everything to bring the leaders closer to their constituents, since we form a single nation."
Recalling that the late King Hassan II was the first to call on the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to gather in Morocco following the arson attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, he took care to explain that exerting pressure on the leaders would push them to consider other alternatives, reports Hespress. This idea "ended up taking shape in his mind in the required manner, and he became aware that in Morocco", the movement of unification, reform, justice and development "has awakened in us not only a theoretical, but also a practical awareness, and we have made efforts to get closer to our leaders, which is a praiseworthy initiative," added the PJD Secretary General.
He gives thanks to God "for the situation we are living in today in Morocco, thanks to this political and philosophical orientation that corrects the serious deviations that our nation has faced for centuries [...] ". The former head of government is convinced that "this concerns not only the rapprochement between leaders and the governed, but also the need to continue to advise in the name of God, because there are those who think that those who favor the rapprochement between leaders and the governed become agents of regimes, intelligence services and apparatuses, which is unacceptable and irrational, because the Muslim is an agent of God and cannot be the agent of anyone else."
Benkirane also reaffirmed his support for Palestine, whose Hamas movement is currently at war with Israel. According to him, the best solution to the conflict would be for Palestine to become a united state, bringing together Jews, Muslims and Christians.
