The Jordanian Center for Research and Islamic Studies has published the 500 most influential Muslims in the world. King Mohammed VI is in the top 15.

King Mohammed VI has been named the 12th most influential Muslim personality in the world in the 2026 edition of the "The Muslim 500" ranking, carried out by the Jordanian Center for Research and Islamic Studies. The Moroccan sovereign owes this position to his influence in several areas, including the administration of religious affairs, development, politics, but also his philanthropy and charitable works.

"King Mohammed VI is the direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad and his family has ruled Morocco for nearly 400 years.
