Morocco’s Young Lionesses Face North Korean Challenge in U-17 World Cup Showdown

The Atlas Lionesses have secured their ticket to the round of 16 after beating Costa Rica (3-1) on Friday. After a defeat against Brazil (3-0) in their opening match, the Moroccans have earned their first three points by defeating Costa Rica. With this victory, they are positioned in third place in Group A.

The Moroccan players will face North Korea, the leader of Group B with 9 points, on Tuesday. This will not be an easy match for the Atlas Lionesses, who will try to win and qualify for the quarter-finals of this World Cup at home.

Twenty-four teams divided into six groups are participating in this World Cup, which is taking place in Morocco. The matches are played on three fields of the Mohammed VI Football Academy and the Rabat Olympic Stadium.
