By finishing among the teams eliminated in the quarter-finals, Morocco enters the category of selections ranked between fifth and eighth place. This ranking entitles it to an allocation of 19 million dollars.

To this sum are added 2.5 million dollars intended for preparation expenses. According to FIFA’s distribution grid, the total expected for the FRMF therefore reaches 21.5 million dollars, excluding any additional charges related to the delegation or ticketing.

A calculation not to be inflated

The 19 million dollar bonus corresponds to the sports envelope linked to Morocco’s final ranking. It already includes the minimum participation base and should therefore not be added a second time.

The amount remains far from the bonuses promised to the tournament’s last four teams. The world champion must receive 50 million dollars, compared to 33 million for the runner-up, 29 million for third place and 27 million for fourth place.
