Morocco’s World Cup Hopes Dim as El Yamiq Sidelined with Injury

After Tarik Tissoudali, another player is at risk of being unavailable for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Moroccan international Jawad El Yamiq, who plays for Real Valladolid, will be unavailable for the next four weeks.
The Moroccan international will be absent from the pitch for a month, indicates a statement from Real Valladolid. Jawad El Yamiq had been injured in the thigh on Saturday, October 1st, and was replaced at the end of the first half by Zouhair Feddal, another Moroccan.
He should only return a few days before the gathering of the national team for the 2022 World Cup (November 20-December 18). There is therefore a strong chance that he will join Tarik Tissoudali, officially out for the World Cup.
