Morocco’s World Cup Dreams: FIFA Offers $42 Million Prize for Champion Team

The Atlas Lions will receive a nice sum from FIFA if they win the 2022 World Cup, which will take place from November 21 to December 18, 2022 in Qatar.
A global envelope of around 417 million euros. According to the figures communicated on its website, this is the allocation budget that FIFA plans for the 2022 World Cup. Each of the 32 participating teams will receive a minimum of 1.4 million euros, a contribution from the world governing body of football "to participation costs".
In detail, the winning country will walk away with 39.8 million euros, while the other finalist will pocket 28.9 million euros. The semi-finalists will earn between 24 and 25 million, the quarter-finalists around 16 million euros and the round of 16 teams will receive a little over 12 million euros. As for the teams eliminated in the group stage, they will receive 8.5 million euros.
For its sixth participation in the World Cup final phase, Morocco, ranked in Group F, will face Croatia, the 2018 World Cup finalist, Belgium, second in the FIFA ranking, and Canada.
