The Moroccan women’s football team lost to the Zambian team 2-0 in a friendly match at the Père Jégo stadium in Casablanca on Friday.
Banda Barbra was the architect of this Zambian victory by scoring a brace, the first on a penalty in the 55th minute and the second in the 69th.
After their remarkable participation in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the Atlas Lionesses, under the leadership of Reynald Pedros, made their first post-World Cup outing against a very solid opponent.
The two teams will have the opportunity to meet again on Tuesday, September 26 at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat for a rematch, still in a friendly match.
