Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses Draw 1-1 with Uganda in Women’s Football Friendly

The Atlas Lionesses drew 1-1 on Friday against the Ugandan team at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca, in a friendly preparation match.
The match started in favor of the Ugandans thanks to a penalty converted by Fauzia Najemba in the 8th minute. The Moroccans were able to respond in the second half, with an equalizing goal scored by Élodie Nakkach in the 64th minute.
A second friendly match is scheduled between the two teams on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 7:00 pm, this time at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat.
These two friendly matches are part of the preparation of the Atlas Lionesses for the upcoming sporting events, including the qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
