Morocco Wins Bid to Host 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Outscoring Rivals

Favorite for CAN 2025, Morocco was awarded the organization of the competition after the last-minute withdrawal of the files of its competitors. Morocco obtained the score of 88/100 for the evaluation criterion (stadiums) which counts for 30%, 98 for the vision against 55 for Algeria, 92 for the promotion of the event against 83 points for all its other competitors combined, 73 for the socio-political situation, 63 for the socio-political-economic and environmental aspects, 99/100 on the legal level.
