Morocco Unveils $10,000 Housing Subsidy Program to Boost Homeownership

Where does the new housing assistance program stand? On Tuesday, Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, presented the housing assistance program to King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace in Rabat. The amount of direct assistance to buyers is set at 100,000 dirhams for the acquisition of a home whose selling price is less than or equal to 300,000 dirhams including tax. The state will cover one third of the value of the property.
