Morocco U20 Soccer Coach Fired Over False Diploma Claims

The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, dismissed the U20 national team coach for fake diplomas.
This technician, however recommended by the National Technical Director (DTN), Osian Roberts, lied during his job interview by declaring false diplomas, reports the daily Al Massae.
The deception was quickly discovered by the DTN who, to save face, proposed Joao Arozo to occupy the position, the same daily specifies, adding that he will be assisted by the former Moroccan international, Jamal Allioui.
The new coach, Joao Arozo, had already collaborated with Osian Roberts in Wales, when the latter held the position of DTN. He has also coached SC Braga in Portugal and was part of the technical staff of the Portuguese national team.
In addition, Bernard Simondi was appointed as the U23 coach, and the duo Fouzi Jamal-Badreddine Kadouri at the head of the U17s, as well as Rachid Rouki to lead the U15s.
