Morocco U17 Squad Faces France in Final Friendly Before AFCON Tournament

In preparation for the 2023 U17 AFCON, the Moroccan national under-17 team faces its French counterpart this Friday at the Mohammed VI Football Center in Maâmora.
Scheduled at 4 pm, this friendly match aims to fine-tune the game strategies of the Atlas Cubs in order to achieve a good performance during this competition scheduled from April 29 to May 19 in Algeria. This is the second time the protégés of Said Chiba have faced the Bluets in a friendly. The two teams had drawn 1-1 in a first match played last Wednesday.
The Moroccan team is aiming to create a surprise at this African sports event. To meet this major challenge, the Atlas Cubs will have to outclass their opponents, which are: Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Cameroon and Zambia, also qualified, in addition to the host country.
As part of these preparations, 26 players have been called up, the majority (24 players) of whom play in Morocco. Only two players, Imran Nazih (Volendam, Netherlands) and Ibrahim El Massih (Molenbeek, Belgium), are coming from Europe.
