For the year 2022 that is coming to an end, the Treasury’s debt would be around 958 billion dirhams (BMDH), while in 2021 it was 885 BMDH, according to Attijari Global Research (AGR).

Thus, according to these forecasts, domestic debt should reach 734 BMDH in 2022, up +7.6% compared to 2021, while external debt should increase by 10.1%, from 204 BMDH in 2021 to 224 BMDH in 2022.
As for the weight of external debt in the Treasury’s total indebtedness, it should remain at the same level at the end of the year.
