Morocco Tops Winter Travel Destinations for French Tourists, Bookings Surge 40%

Bookings are up compared to last winter. The booking rate for the winter of 2023-2024 (from November 1 to April 30) shows a 40% increase year-on-year for a turnover also up by 41.6%, reports Air Journal. French tour operators also did good business during the summer. From May 1 to October 31, they saw their turnover increase by 27.7% (3.035 billion euros). At the top of the podium of medium-haul destinations this summer were Tunisia, Greece, the Balearic Islands and Morocco. Mauritius, the United States, the Dominican Republic and Canada topped the ranking of long-haul destinations.
