Morocco to Tighten Visa Rules for Egyptian Businessmen Amid Fraud Concerns

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, says that Morocco is about to tighten the conditions for granting visas to certain Egyptians. And for good reason.
During a meeting with the Interior, Foreign Affairs and National Defense Commission of the House of Advisors, the head of Moroccan diplomacy announced that Morocco will tighten the conditions for granting visas to Egyptians, particularly businessmen, due to cases of fraud observed, reports Al Oâmk. Some Egyptian businessmen are often driven by the desire to settle permanently in Morocco, and this could have social consequences and security issues.
In the report of this commission, Nasser Bourita also reported the difficulties faced by Moroccan businessmen in obtaining visas in certain countries, including Egypt. All of which could reinforce the Moroccan authorities to tighten the conditions for granting visas to Egyptians.
