Morocco Terror Plot: Wife of Key Suspect Admits Knowledge of Planned Attacks

While she had denied her husband’s involvement in the attacks that a terrorist cell dismantled last week in the cities of Témara, Tangier, Tiflet and Skhirate was preparing, the wife of Abderrazak A., alias "moul triporteur", finally confesses.
During her hearing on Monday, the terrorist’s wife stated that her husband had informed her of the attacks that he and his "brothers in arms" were about to carry out, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia. She added that her husband had asked her to take care of their two daughters, as he could end up in prison or become a martyr after the attacks. Also, she specified that the leader of the terrorist cell was preparing explosives in a large pressure cooker after searching for the modus operandi on the internet.
The wife of Abderrazak A. revealed that her husband was planning to slit the throat of one of the residents of the neighborhood where he lived because he had embraced the Shiite doctrine. She also confided that her husband was bringing home suspicious products and liquids and hiding them in the kitchen and other places. During the operation to dismantle the terrorist cell, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) seized these products.
The most surprising revelation is that the terrorist’s wife says she too pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria after her marriage to the cell leader.
