Morocco Suspends Soft Wheat Import Duties to Secure Domestic Supply

Morocco has suspended import duties on soft wheat and its derivatives for the period from January 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021.
This draft decree, proposed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, aims to ensure the regular supply of this cereal on the Moroccan market.
Regarding the examination of draft law No. 91.17, supplementing law No. 04.12 on agricultural aggregation, it was postponed to further discuss between the two ministries concerned before it is presented to a future Council of Government.
The council also studied draft decree No. 2.20.131 on authorizations and notifications of activities, installations and related ionizing radiation sources, belonging to category II. The examination of this project presented by the Minister of Energy, Mines and Environment was also postponed.
